Discovering Morocco
My daughter and I traveled with a group of 12 other teachers on a two-week, guided journey through Morocco. The trip, led by Abdul, was through GEEO, a tour company who brings teachers to many parts of the world. We traveled by small van, and were  guided by many locals through historic Medinas (old cities), plus visited artisan cooperatives.
From Tangier at the Strait of Gilbraltar, to the edge of the Sahara and back to the sea in Essaouira, we found Morocco culturally-rich, fascinating and a very friendly place to travel.
Through the trip Abdul always knew who to help us with whatever... wherever, so the opening of the slide set is a phrase we heard often: "I know a guy...", which he always did!
